We went to visit 施琇惠 in her home at Rossmoor on Sunday(2/3). She looked very good after her stroke. Of course, she was happy to see us. She took a walk outside the house with her helper for 20 min. It seems she is recovering fast. Click to see: All Pictures.
We visited 余金聰 in Sabah. After many years, he lives like a 土著王. I will report more on Sabah trip later. Also we had a reunion at Taipei.

Finally I am a grandpa!
Nancy and my son-in-law Leon are very excited to announce the birth of their son - Elliott Sean Wei-Wu (Chinese name: Wu Wei Xiang). He arrived with some drama on March 30th, 2013 at 10:56am, weighing 8 lbs 3 oz. He is a healthy and energetic baby. Please see attached for a few early photos.

台灣師範大學洪姮娥講座教授研究團隊，首度在國內自行研發成功以奈米磁珠為媒介的高靈敏度磁減量免疫檢測技術，不僅能早期檢出肝癌及大腸癌等，並結合超導感測技術，更可簡單地僅用抽血方式檢測早期血液中極少量的阿滋海默症生物標記，能及早控制病情的發展。研究成果最近登上國際著名期刊Human Brain Mapping ，並已技轉國內生技廠商，且促成創投公司掖注資金，擬進行臨床試驗後推到國內、外的市場。
Dear Classmates,Below is the link to my interview with Houston Fox TV Channel 26 to demonstrate Taichi for Houston Shaolin Kung-Fu Academy. I was their spokesperson and also participated in some demonstrations. I work for fun now and may re-retire any time when I do not enjoy it.

Beccause 李財興 son’s wedding was same day as our son. Sorry, we did not go to his son’s wedding. Also because our son’s wedding was held far away in Malibu in southern California, we did not invite friends in northern California. My most sincere congratulations to 洪姮娥for her outstanding achievement, and to many of you for being promoted to the "grand" generation or on the waiting list to be the next stage in life.
My husband and I have been in Taiwan for 5 weeks and will be back to NJ on 11/19. My trip is just to spend time with my sisters in Taiwan and unwind myself for a better journey in life.

Hi 各位老同學：
很高興因著克利的到來，找回斷掉的線，又能看到銘輝也能夠回到我們的行列。退休後；我維持每日晨間的羽毛球及回中山大學兼每週三小時的課，另外每週二個下午的油畫班，也讓我沈浸於心靈底深處，週六晚上則有教會的聖歌練習，日子並未閒下來。
上週去印尼泗水台灣國際學校，整整一週的教學輔導，雖然累但很值得。

It is nice to finally hear from 吳銘輝. We have visited Portland Oregon many times in the last few years but didn't know that 吳銘輝 is just around the corner. Dear Classmates:
It’s Christmas again and I wish all of you have a great Christmas vacation and Happy New Year.
As you know that I retired on February this year, and have traveled a lot since then. It’s a new experience for me to really relax and enjoy the free time. I have tried to catch what I missed before and looked into the life from different way, I hope the rest of my life will be full of happiness without regret.
I am so glad to know that 陳龍銘 is a Christian now, I have been a Christian for about 55 years and I really hope all of you will think about the meaning of the life especially at our age and during Christmas. I encourage you go to the church and you will be surprised to find out something that you have never experienced before.
Attached is a photo I took at a wedding in San Diego last weekend, luckily, I don’t have too much gray hair yet ; however, I am getting older now.
