Dear Friends:
It's so delightful to see so many "New" old classmate faces lately from the E-mails. Some of you that I even can't recognize without to call Wei Cheng-Fang to find out "Who is Who". How lucky we are to have the E-mails and photos to bond us together after 35 years of separation. We all are getting older but the memories are still so fresh in our hearts.
I am still working for Honeywell Aerospace Division ( used to call Allied Signal Aerospace) in Arizona, and still keeping very busy for the church activities, such as teaching adult Sunday school, helping few family fellowships, leading Empty Nest Group (member with age of 50-65) and supporting some special programs for the community. It's time for us to prepare retirement, share love to others, and enjoy the rest of our life.
For unknown reason, every time when I saw your pictures, I greatly apprecite to have you to be part of my life. Some of you, we don't have any of your information for a long -long time, we all miss you and want to know how is everything going with you and your family.
Would you like to share your latest status with us ? or at least sent a photo to us. About a year ago, I encouraged everyone to send family pictures to all of us instead of Christmas or Chinese New Year cards. I will do this first and I hope everyone will do the same. Attached are my family photos that we took at Christmas. I had a Christmas party at my home and fifty people from my Empty Nest Group showed up. We had a great Christmas eve.

Thanks for loading the photos in the website The second picture should be my two daughters not my wife and daughter.The taller one is my elder daughter Ye-Mei, she is an attorney in Phoenix , and the younger one Ye-Hui is working at the headquarter of Neiman Marcus in Dallas as a buyer of famous designer jewelry. My wife and I will travel to China, Hong-Kong and Taiwan on April for two weeks and hope have time to see some of the classmates in Taipei.

The spring is coming soon (officially it's on March 20). Only about a couple weeks ago, the city reserved open land behind my back yard is pure brown. Now it's turning into lovely green. It makes me think about spring. May all our female classmates' beauty and all our male classmates' energy be always stay like spring.

Hello everyone:
I am Mei-Zu Lin's husband, Joe. The picture definitely
brought back a lot memory. It was taken on the cruise
to Mexico during the summer of 1994.
Sitting at the center is Mei-Zu. Sitting at the very
left on the front row is our son Stephen. Behind
Mei-Zu is me and then our other son, Michael.
By the way, as time flies by, Stephen is now a junior
in college, majoring in electrical engineering.
Michael just graduated, double majoring in business
economics / global studies. He is now working in Sun
Microsystems in Sunnyvale as a financial analyst. I am
very glad that he got a job nearby and can live at
home with me. In fact, our companies are only ten
minutes apart. Occasionally we can go out for lunch
together.
Michael was able to graduate a quarter earlier. It
allows him and me going for a self-guided tour to
France this April. After two weeks exploring around
the continent, he further venturing in
England/Scotland himself for another two weeks. It was
quite memorable that we as father/son can be totally
together for two weeks on a 24 hour everyday basis,
sleeping in the same room, eating the same food,
drinking the same wine. He brought a surf board with
him during the trip.
Surfing is his favorite. He also likes tri-athelon,
sky diving, basketball, etc. In fact, this weekend he
is going to run the San Jose Marathon. In a way, he is
a lot like his mom, Mei-Zu.
Stephen is somewhat different from his brother, not
quite as athletic, but physically taller. He is 6'1".
Both of them are quite popular among their friends.
Stephen has a steady girl friend. (At least they are
still steady as I am aware). Michael, on the other
hand, has quite a few of good female friends.
As for me, I am still working. No plan for retirement
in the near future yet.

Thank you for posting the picture. I can't believe how fast time went by. My
son, sitting on the floor second from the right, is second year in college, he
hasn't decided what to do, and is on the fencing team. My daughter Laurel,
standing behind Yen-hwa and Shu-chu is a software designer in Seattle. We
visited her often and really enjoyed the beautiful islands and peninsulas around
Washington state. My other daughter Jen, standing behind me and Yen-hwa is a
commodity trader in NYC. As you can imaging, she is just like all other young
people in NYC, lives in a very fast lane. As for myself, I have been working for
Mellon Financial, an asset management and servicing company, about 7 years now.
Very busy but have lots of fun. I also finished my first triathlon at US Senior
Olympic this summer and finished 6 in the nation for my age group.

This sure brings back memories. My younger one, Tim Hwang, sits in the front row, second from left. Tim is now in his second year in college. My older son, Jim Hwang, stands in the last row, second from the right. Jim is working at Wire Image as a video photographer.

It's great you mentioned you sons and what they are doing (below). I'm passing this out to other classmates so they will know too.
My daughter is working as a software designer living in Utah. I think Utah is one of the most beautiful states in U.S.A, specially in the fall with the colorful leaves in the canyons.
My son (they both next to me in the picture) is working as a DVD and video designer in LA. Hopefully, I'll get professional help from him someday. :)

Hi everyone,
Thank Wee-yong for the picture. It brought me the old good memory again. Sigh! Time and tide wait for no man. The young and little ones now are all grown up. The mature ones now are reaching the retiring age.
Anyway, in the picture, the lady wearing the black sitting near the middle is my wife, Susan. I stood behind her. Also, from my left is my second daughter Karen, me, my first daughter Grace, and my son Peter (my youngest child). Grace is working for a medical center in Sacramento, California. karen is working for a financial institution in San Francisco, California. Peter is preparing to enter a graduate school to further his study in business. Seems like it's about the time for us to have another reuinon.
